Janice Carter
Janice Carter is a freelance graphic designer with a love of words. Before discovering design, she was a bookworm at the University of Toronto aspiring to an academic career in English Literature. A figure drawing class opened her eyes to the visual arts. The first class revealed more than she cared to see; she thought she’d signed up to draw fruit, not naked people. Eventually the shock waned and she went on to graphic design at George Brown College. She’s since worked for clients including Mackenzie Investments, Sappi Paper, Savoir Faire Professionals Inc. and Lindt-Sprüngli.
When she isn’t sitting at her computer designing, writing or wasting time on Facebook, she’s enjoying being part of random events including: being hit by a tree in New Zealand, being introduced as a famous singer at a bar in Slovakia (yes, she did get up on stage and sing with the band) and being asked out by a man in a white suit.
